DEFAULT TIME ZONE FOR NEW EVENTS

CARLOS

I have set the time zone in System Preferences as EST (New York -
U.S.A.) and the only defaults in Entourage that I have to choose from
are Pacific, Mountain and Central, which sets my calendar events an
hour later because I am forced to choose Central as the default. How
do I correct this?

Entourage has its own time zone settings, in its "General"
Preferences. How is this one set?

Hi! In Entourage, General Preferences, Calendar... the only choices for the
default time zone for new events are: Pacific/Mountain & Central (US &
Canada) / Tijuana...

OK, I see. This has already been discussed some time ago. Maybe this will be
a better clue:

In fact, Entourage takes his Timezone references from a file named
"Timezones" in the "Microsoft Office X/Office" Folder. For some reason it
must be corrupt. So you should replace it with its original equivalent from
the CD. That should bring things back. Well, let's hope so :)
