Seems when I click on Calendar the default view is for the Week - Can I make the calendar default view for the Month? How? Can't seem to find that one.

If you switch it to the month and leave it like that, it should stick.
Works on my machine (in 2004 and 2008, you didn't state your version).

Not sure what you mean by close and open the window to make it stick. Do you mean close the program and reopen (which I tried and still defaults back to Week View)

When I use 2004 it stays on the month but with the new 2008 the
calendar always defaults back to the week. Any suggestions?

I'm having the same problem. In Office 2004, the calendar month
stays, but in Office 2008 it keeps defaulting back to weekly. Have
you found any answers that work?

Just got off the phone with Mac Microsoft Tech Support and we tried
numerous things before resorting to uninstalling and reinstalling
Office 2008. After doing so, the monthly calendar view stayed after
closing. I suggest doing the same. Uninstalling is done by running
the uninstall program in the Microsoft 2008 Office folder in
Applications/Additional Tools/Remove Office. After uninstalling, I
just did a fresh install. None of my emails or contacts or calendar
events were lost. They are stored outside the Office folder and will
not be affected. Hope this info helps. Good Luck.
