In Outlook, there is a message options box which allows you to set a
"send on" date. Is there something comparable in Entourage? I
haven't found anything about this in Google or on the Entourage:Mac
page...

Entourage does not have that capability. Check out these scripts:

Delayed Send X 1.0.1
These scripts enable you to save messages to be sent automatically on a date
you choose, or on regular repeat schedules.

Postpone, Delayed Send 1.95 This pair of scripts adds the ability to hide
(postpone) incoming messages out of sight for a user-entered amount of time.
It also has the ability to delay the sending of outgoing messages.

Please forgive my ignorance - I'm new to this... What would I do with
these scripts? Thank you...

First you don't have to write scripts to use AppleScripts. Many people never
try scripts because they are afraid. Basically think of scripts as an add-on
to Entourage. They allow you to customize Entourage for YOUR needs.

There are so many scripters you will never have to write your own scripts.
Most scripts can be downloaded. Most are free.

You'll find directions here:

FWIW, I used one of the Insert URL scripts to insert the URL above into this
message. I can't imagine using Entourage without scripts.
