I mange about 15 Macs Running OS 10.3.3. The Machines range from
G3 450's to newest Dual G5. All machines are well equipped with RAM as we
are a design firm. We are dependent upon our Companies MIS department
which administers the Exchange Server.
Our problem is this:
When our machines wake from sleep. The communication link is broken
with the Exchange server. As a workaround I have set a schedule to send
and receive mail on the hour. I would prefer to not set these schedules. I
also suspect that this problem is an indicator of a larger problem which is as
follows.
Some emails might not show up for a day or so.
The machines seem to be receiving emails immediately from the server and
then all of the sudden, a few new email show up from the day before. These
straggler emails show no signs of continuity. Some may be from outside
email address's and some area from within the company.
This is causing many area's of confusion for the users.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
