Delayed messages dissapear

When i create a delayed message in Outlook 2002 to go at a
future date the message sits in the outbox until that time
and then dissapears however the message is copied to the
sent items folder but not sent to the relevant person. Any
ideas

Are you using *SMTP* to send mail, or do you have an Exchange account? If
you're actually using SMTP, could you turn on diagnostic logging (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q300479) and post
the OPMLog.log file after you send a delayed message? We should be able to
see if the message was actually sent from the logs.

I cant find the file I have searched in all locations and
scanned my entire C: drive. We do currently record all
emails we recieve and send, the delayed emails are being
tracked here so they do go however they just dont appear
for the recipient

You may need to include hidden files in the search to find the log file.
However it's not really necessary if your server logs show that the message
is being sent. If the server has received the message from Outlook, you'll
have to try to track this down on the server - Outlook's responsibility for
the message ends when the server accepts it. You'll need to try and figure
out why the server is not delivering the message.
