Working with Entourage 2004/Exchange 2003

Company has a user Company Calendar
All company events and meetings are included on this calendar
All users are delegates to Company Calandar calendar

Entourage users are setup as delegates and can view
both their calandar events and the Company Calendar events

The problem
Users are being reminded every 15 min for both their events
and the Company Calendar events. And there are a lot of
company events....

The fix is to turn reminder off, but this turns all reminders off
and would like to just turn company calendar 's off and leave
their calendar reminders on.

John,

I've not been able to get delegate access to work at all. I've been looking
for fixes, but at this point our Exchange server source says it simply does
not work in Entourage.

You seem to be having some success at it; reading white papers from
Microsoft and following advice from this newsgroup has not yet yielded any
success.

We are able to set up access using Outlook on a PC, and things are working
fine there, so the setup seems to be correct. I've set permissions
individually for each folder to which delegate access is given. The user I
am delegate for shows up in the folder list, but there is no content.

I know I've not provided many specifics, but if you are aware of any secret
magic formulas to get delegate access working, could you pass them on? I've
been working on and off on this for months and our office is really stuck on
this issue.

Hi John,

I had the same problem with this delegate access with
Entourage and I had been spending most times trying to
find out why and how.

So, please John Thorne, hope you can share some lights
here to help would be much appricated.
