Delegate can't dismiss calendar events

I've setup delegate access with Reviewer permissions for a user. The
synchronization works fine, and the delegate is able to see all the
calendar events from the "parent". The problem is that when the
delegate dismisses the calendar events, the notification for the
dismissed events pops up again at the next synchronization (in his
case, ever 10 minutes). Is there any way to prevent this other than
turning off notification?

This is a known issue. Microsoft is aware of it. As a somewhat ugly
workaround, you might try snoozing the reminder for a really long time.
