Delete Duplicate Items - Outlook 2002 - KB Doesn't Apply?

I have many duplicates in my e-mail folders in Outlook 2002. I went
to the MS knowledge base for a solution, and found KB 299349.
However, when I try to apply the solution, it's like it's for a
completely different version of Outlook. My drop-down menus are
nothing like that described in the KB. When I click on Current View
on the View menu, I don't see any way possible to change the folder
view to a table type view. Outlook 2002 SP3.

It's poorly written. Choose Group by view for non-mail. Mail's Message view
is a table view.

but - if you have many to delete, it's going to be slow going - there are
utilities that can speed it up.
