I have recently started to use a G4 PowerBook with Office for Mac.
I have 3 emails in my inbox sent to me (unsolicited) from Apple. They
outline features of iDisk, iCal and iSync respectively. I can not
delete them. I can move them but the original stays in my inbox to
haunt me.
Your help would be greatly appreciated
I already helped. See your earlier thread "Unable to delete email in
Entourage X".
Instead of using the Google web access, where it can take hours (even 12
hours or so) to see your own message and replies, access the newsgroup in
Entourage or another news client. Using the Microsoft News Server, you'll
see messages within about 3 minutes after they are posted. (I posted my
reply almost 8 hours ago, at 12:12 PM PST.)
In Entourage, click on the Microsoft News Server icon in the Folders list.
Enter "mac.office" (without quotes) in the little filter box at top right.
Select this microsoft.public.mac.office.entourage newsgroup and any of the
others you may need. Click the Subscribe button in the toolbar.
Now go to the newsgroup, which will be listed under the Microsoft News
Server. In the messages list, click on Arrange By and select Subject. (Later
on, you can learn how to arrange by subject in Sent order; for now it will
be alphabetical). Scroll to "Unable to delete" (or enter it in the quick
filter box). You'll see my answer which has been there for hours already.
Do not reply by email. Reply in the newsgroup.

Please "Reply To Newsgroup" to reply to this message. Emails will be
ignored.
PLEASE always state which version of Microsoft Office you are using -
**2004**, X or 2001. It's often impossible to answer your questions
otherwise.
