delete large number contacts

how to delete huge # of blank contacts?

I tried to import contacts from a very large excel file several times &
accidentally created a huge number of blank contacts (60,000!) When I try to
select all & delete, I'm told that I don't have enough available memory. How
can I remove all of these without doing so individually?
