Ok, so I select about fifty messages on my Apple Mac G4, OS X 10.2.6,
Entourage X v 10.1.4, not actually connected to a network, I click on
the "Online Status" envelope icon and select "Delete Message from
Server", and magically all fifty vanish immediately off my laptop -
nowhere, vanished, disappeared... I never requested this daft piece of
software to delete the messages from my laptop. Are these gone for
good? Is there anyway I can download these again when I do reconnect
the the network? How do you file a bug report, after all this is only
the quality of early beta software, and it is an insult to charge for
software this badly written, poorly facilitated, and fundamentally
inadequate. Come on development team, try using some other email
browsers and discover what both you and your software is missing -
even for Microsoft this is a very poor offering.
Anyway, where have my messages gone? How do I get my messages back?
And why does this stupid command do something completely different
from what was requested...
