Delete message having future sent date

I frequently get spam messages that have a date in the future as the ³sent
date², e.g., 2/11/28. I can¹t determine how to set up a rule that deletes
any message that has a ³future² sent date. Is there a way in Entourage 12
(Office 2008)?

This is a duplicate of the request I sent to
microsoft.public.office.mac.entourage because I don¹t know when to use one
vs. the other.

Thanks.

Is the Junk Mail Filter not catching the messages? Are you just wanting to
auto delete?

Try criteria: Date Sent is greater than xxxx days. You¹ll have to pick the
number of days.

Action: Run AppleScript Nuke Messages (note this will permanently delete,
you might want to use Move messages to Deleted Items folder folder until you
are sure it¹s working correctly)

Download Nuke Messages:

Thanks for the reply.

My Junk Mail Filter and Rules catch some (not all) of these and move them to
my Deleted Items folder. Then I have a Schedule item that deletes anything
³older than² 2 days from Deleted Items. The problem with ³older than² is
that the sent-date in these messages is not any days-old since the date is
in the future. It is like Negative 6000 days-old (since it¹s in year 2028).
The concept of ³older than² doesn¹t apply. Need something like ³less than 0
days-old², but Schedule items only support ³older than².

I looked at that AppleScript, but it¹s not clear how to modify it to catch
dates in the future.

The script nukes the messages only. It's the Criteria Date Sent is greater
that gets mail in the future.

Because the date is greater than it shouldn't be a negative number. I get
less than 5 junk emails a week that's not caught by the filter.

Have you looked at SpamSieve? Everyone that uses it reports back favorably.
