Delete Music in PP

I have a PowerPoint that plays music automatically when the show begins, but
the music does not fit the show. I'd like to change it, but there isn't a
sound icon to delete. I know I can just begin a totally new show, but I
figure there must be an easier way? Does anyone have a suggestion?

Sunrunner,
The sound is probably attached to the slide transition. Have a look in the
slide transition taskpane, under sectin change transition there should be a
sound item. Choose no sound in the list and you should be OK.
Also it could be that the loudspeaker icon has been dragged off the slide
into the gray area surrounding the slide, reduce your zoom to 33 % and see
if you can find it now.

Thank you so much, Luc! You were absolutely right. I found the sound (song)
in the slide transition section, but the loudspeaker icon wasn't on the
slide. At least now, I know where to look! Thank you again!!
