Delete Rules Still Trying to Run

I deleted some mail rules and folders they referenced yet they still run and then I get error messages every time I download messages. Any idea what might be going on?

Did you delete the correct rules? You'll have rules specific to POP
accounts, specific to IMAP accounts, specific to Exchange accounts,
specific to Hotmail accounts and specific to Outgoing messages.

Check under every tab in Tools --> Rules...

Thanks Bill. The solution was actually in the Mailing List Manager. I'm new to Entourage but I was surprised Entourge Help didn't provide a solution. I'll have to figure out where to use Rules vs. Mailing List Manager. Maybe you have a tip or two on this.

Don't worry, it's a common issue.

the Mailing List Manager.

The MLM is best for handling email mailing lists, like those for
discussions and announcements. In addition to filing the message like a
rule does, it will also allow you to control reply behavior and a few
other elements. Those users who are not subscribed to many (or any)
mailing lists, probably don't need to use the MLM.
