Delete spam only on server

Entourage 2008:
Is there a way to delete what Entourage defines as spam directly on
server each time it gets mail, and keep a copy of all other mail for x days?

Some servers have server-side rules, which would definitively be the
best solution to address this issue.
Otherwise, it is difficult to do. You cannot delete a selection of the
e-mails in the trash. That would require moving non-spam e-mails from
the trash to somewhere else, then emtpying the trash for spam e-mails
and finally moving non-spam e-mails that were previously in the trash
back in the trash.

Any reason you want to "preserve" the non spam-emails in the trash??

Sorry, I might have put it wrong.
I ment deleting the trashcan on the server.
