Deleted Account with over 6K messages

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
Email Client: pop

Earlier, I quit Entourage and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Then I restarted it no more than 30 minutes late and EVERYTHING was gone! The account was no longer there and all of the messages and subfolders were gone. The only possible backup could be on my external harddrive with Time Machine.

HELP??? PLEASE

I really need those messages. Any help is appreciated!

The usual cause for this is that someone moved or deleted the Main Identity
folder inside ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data. Find the old one and replace
the new one that Entourage created (in a perhaps misguided attempt to be
helpful).

This is the usual cause. Other possibilities is you had a schedule set to
delete, or you have selected view flagged only selected.
