Deleted emails not showing up in Deleted Items folder

R

Richard Garneau

I put this in the other day, but no help. When I delete email from my
inbox, it does not go to the Deleted Items folder, instead they are
permanently deleted. I would really like them to go there and any help
would sure be appreciated.

Thanks,

Richard

Check under View in the menu bar to make sure you do not have "Unread Only"
or "Flagged Only" selected.

Entourage does not have a built-in function to permanently delete.

If this is an IMAP account there is a setting in the account dialog
(Advanced tab) to move emails to the deleted items folder or to mark for
deletion within the folder until it is purged. Check the option to move to
deleted items folder is set.
