deleted messages

Email Client: pop

I delete messages and then they come back into my inbox. The deleted messages do not go to my server. Please help!

Which type is it? Exchange or POP?
When does this happens? when u launch Entourage or when Entourage updates its folders?

It's POP and it happens when I launch it and has just randomly occurred while updating as well.
