Deleting a contact

I am unable to delete a contact. I get an error message telling me that if
the problem persists, I should restart Outlook. I have restarted, reloaded
and downloaded new patches. Nothing works. I am using Outlook 2000.

Back up the pst file and then run scanpst.exe against the pst file.
