Deleting a PST

If I create a PST in Outlook and then decide later that I want to delete it,
how do I go about doing so?

thank you for your assistance.

If it's not your default PST (the one with your Inbox, Calendar, etc in it)
you should be able to close it from within Outlook (right click on it and
choose the Close option), quit Outlook and then delete the PST file. You
might not need to quit out of Outlook but it shouldn't hurt.

It is required that you stop Outlook. Despite the PST not showing in the
Folder List after closing it, Outlook still maintains a connection to it
until Outlook closes.
