Deleting a receipt that keeps trying to be sent.

Melvin C. Phillips

I receive e-mail through two different services--Cox.net & Netzero.net. I am only able to send mail through Cox.net. I received an e-mail through Netzero.net which request a receipt. I authorized Outlook to send the receipt without thinking about my inability to send messages through Netzero.net. Now Outlook keeps trying to send the receipt whenever it tries to send/receive and keeps getting an error. I am unable to find the receipt in order to delete it. It is not stored in the outbox where messages that didn't transmit are normally stored.

are you using the Cox SMTP server on the netzero account? it should send ok
if you are...

otherwise, it's a hidden message in the top level of the folder. you can use
outlook spy (www.dimastr.com/outspy/) to browse the folders and delete it,
if you are comfortable using programmers tools.
