It depends. First of all, it is perfectly normal to see the remove button
greyed out; it will only become active once an attachment has been selected.
Another option would be to select a message in the message list and then
click on Message>Remove all Attachments.
At the same time, you need to be aware that Entourage only removes
attachments from local copies of messages. In other words, if you use an
IMAP account, Entourage cannot easily remove an attachment from a message;
instead, it will remove the attachment from the local copy of the message
and leave the attachment intact in the copy of the message that's on the
server. If you want to find out more about this, post back.
Is there a way to delete an attachment without deleting the entire
message?
The Remove button is greyed out on my machine & I'm unable to select
it.
