I have an exchange account through work, which I access using Entourage
both at work and at home. Last month, my iMac at work went ker-flooey
(OK, actually it had a bad logic board) and had to go to the MacHospital
for a while. While it was gone, I used a second iMac in the office and
set up Entourage to access my Exchange e-mail account.
Now my original iMac is back, rested and refreshed and ready for duty. I
had to set up my Exchange account in Entourage again, which worked like
a charm. I would like to remove my account from the second work iMac
because it will be used by other folks in the office. Is it as simple as
simply deleting the Account by accessing the dialog box under the Tools
menu? Since it is an Exchange account, there should be no question of
data loss, correct?
I apologize if this seems like a silly question, but I just want to make
sure that I don't lose any data or inadvertently do something that
affects my Exchange account on the server or on my other Macs. I did not
create any folders within Entourage on the iMac's hard drive or anything
like that -- only used the folders that are present on the server.
I should mention that these are older model iMacs (the half-moon ones)
running Panther and Office 2004.
Thanks,
Julia
