Deleting Consolidate Links to Sourse Data

Hi In Excel I used the consolidate wizard from the Data dropdown and
pressed create link to data source after identifying what areas and
sheets I wanted.

This was ok but then I wanted the link I deleted the areas selected
and I unchecked the link box but I cannot get rid of the little
toolbar that selecting the link data source produces when selected.

I have tried numerous ways to remove this link status but cannot get
rid anybody help me please?

goto 'View - Toolbars' and de-select this toolbar
