Deleting emails from inbox

I have several emails in my inbox that Entourage will not allow me to delete. I press the delete button but nothing happens. What is strange to me is that I can delete other emails but not all (even from them sender). I am not aware of any rules or filters setup that would prevent me from deleting emails.

Any ideas?

Hi Mark!

Is this an IMAP account? If so, right-click on the specific folder(s) in
the folder list on the left and select the option to Repair Message List.

you need to rebuild the database.

hol down the option key when starting entourage until the rebuild screen
appears, then follow he instructions.
