deleting emails

When I try to delete emails, I get the message "messaging
interface has returned an unknown error. If problem
persists, restart Outlook. When I try to run detect and
repair I get the massageMicrosoft Small Business Error 2344

Any suggestions

Empty your Deleted Items folder first and then try to remove another
message.

If that doesn't work try a new profile and import your pst file, it may be a
damaged profile.
