Deleting mail from the exchange server

I want to move my e-mail messages from the exchange server to a folder
on my computer (to not use too much of my exchange server space) but I
can't figure out how to do this with Entourage. When i move the message
to another folder, it stays on the server. I found some instructions on
how to do this with IMAP or POP accounts but nothing about Exchange
accounts.

Any suggestions?

thanks! Camille

Entourage uses the same keyboard shortcuts for a move rather than a copy as
the Finder. Try dragging and dropping the items to your local folders while
holding down the Command key, that will change the drop to a move rather
than the standard copy.

Thanks - only thing is, this shows that it's a "move" now, but still
has the icon indicating that the message is on the exchange server.
When I click on the icon that indicates that the message is on the
server, it will not let me deselect "Leave message on server" nor will
it let me select "Delete message from server at next connection." I
have to complete delete the message (and empty the delete folder) to
get it off the server. Is this an exchange side problem?
Thanks! Camille
