deleting messages from Entourage

When I attempt to delete messages from Entourage, with the delete
button from my keyboard or with the shortcut, the messages will not
delete. I have to go to the top to Edit, "delete message." I can
delete words from Word and other programs with the delete button. This
problem is only with Entourage. Anybody else had this problem?

Does it always happen or only occasionally? I have a similar problem
where every now and then, keyboard shortcuts stop working in Entourage.
So, where I normally delete messages using the delete button, all of a
sudden that does nothing and I have to use my mouse. Restarting
Entourage fixes it, until it happens again. I have not found a fix
yet, but you are not alone.

Thank you for your feedback. It does happen occasionally. It is so
annoying when it does happen. I will try restarting Entourage to see
if that makes a difference.

I have had the problem for ages. I have rebuilt my machine at least 4
times and it always returns. This may never get fixed since there is
really so little support or development related to any Microsoft apps
for Mac. Shut down and restart. We will most likely have to live with
it - if and when there is an major update to this app (unlikely with
Windows now running nicely on Intel Macs).

What???

If there's no development, how did we get to version 11.2.3 - that implies a
pretty active development cycle to me.

So their commitment to at least five years more development (made on-stage
during the SJ keynote at MacWorld) and their declaration that the next
version of Office:Mac will be a universal binary passed you by?

Please, criticise the apps as much as you like. No app is perfect, and
negative feedback does help to improve things. MVPs can be as critical as
anyone (and more so than most!) of what is not right in the apps. But
please, don't knock the MacBU commitment to their target platform. MacBU
will continue to produce excellent apps for the mac platform for as long as
they continue to turn a profit for MS - that's why the MacBU exists, after
all! They are a great bunch of dedicated people, committed to improving the
user experience of MS, Office and the Mac platform. Comments like yours are
unfair, inaccurate and insulting.
