Deleting Messages in your Newsgroup Reader

Brett Mallard

Someone please help... I know it's probably an easy solution, and
something that I've overlooked a hundrend times, but I can't figure
out how to delete messages from my newsgroups. I literally have
hundreds of messages building up in my newsgroups that I'm subscribed
to, and can't figure out how to delete them after I've read them. Any
help regarding this would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Newsgroup messages are on the server and you can't delete. You can delete
the ng cache in Entourage. Just control click on the ng icon in the folder
list and select Empty Cache.

You can also select "unread only" from view so you don't see the old
messages.

Hi,
I was wondering the same thing, but didn't even have an 'ng' icon or
folder in my file list. Did I miss something?

I'm bumfuzzled!

Can you send me a screen shot when you are viewing newsgroups showing the
folder list and part of the message window?

Please send off list.

Thanks!!
