delivered/read receipt requested

Is there a way for the receiver of an e-mail to be notified if the sender has
requested either delivered receipt requested or read receipt requested
before the
receiver open that e-mail. Or is there a way for the receiver to stop
notification
of these actions to the sender.

Click Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Tracking Options and select the "Ask me
before sending a response" option at the bottom of the dialogue box.

Or click Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Tracking Options and choose "Never
send a response" (my choice).
