Demo doesn't work

I ordered the demo from MS. It says when I try to register it on-line, that
it doesn't have a valid registration code. It's the code that came with the
disk. You cannot use the demo without registering it. The only other
option is to buy the product and get another registration code. I also have
2002 on this machine and did a separate install of the 2003. I tried
uninstalling it and re-installing it. It does not help. I have no idea who
to call at MS to resolve the situation.
