desktop calendar template

I want to print 2006 calendars and insert my photos.
These free standing desktop calendar cases are what I have in mind. Like a
cd case but swivels open past 180 to enable standing

they have a blank template at the bottom of the page (photoshop or
word - I have both) but I'd like the
months too - any idea how I can do this or a link to a better template ?

A simpler way to ask is how to find and use a 'scalable' monthly or two
monthly calendar that I can fit into a template which is approx 5.25 inch x
4.5 inches (13.2 x 11.4 cm)

templates here in various Office application formats.

Do I just go to the page setup and custom size it ?

Frank,

If you open Publisher, you will find on the left hand side of your Publisher
window, the "Object" toolbar. On this toolbar is a button that opens the
"Design Gallery". This can also be accessed through the Insert > Design
Gallery Object menu.

When the Design Gallery opens, go to the "Calendar" listing in the
categories and choose your calendar theme. You can scale this calendar to
the size you prefer.

I also just noticed that only two on the linkk are Publisher.

How can I do the Word template in Publisher - called Photo with graphics -

Perhaps you can help me find a more efficient way to do this

I downloaded a Publisher calendar template and resized it in Page Setup
Saved it as a jpeg.
Opened an image and dragged it onto a layer above calendar.
Changed mode and opacity (Darken/50%)
Duplicated the layer.
Selected just the calendar area, and created a layer mask (filled with
black).
Flatten

It's long winded - is there a more efficient way to do this?

Use Brian's suggestion as posted above. The calendar you selected in the template
web site can be replicated in Publisher. Put an image in the background (Master Page)
wash it out, put the other elements on the publication page.
