Desktop to Laptop Audio/Animation Problem

Hello,
We are experiencing a problem with a presentation that was created on a pc running Windows 2000 and Office 2000 Pro. We have tried to run the presentation on a laptop running Windows XP and Office 2000 Pro.
Sometimes it runs fine, but other times the music will play but the text will not build or it will be out of syn. Other times a black screen will come up. We have tried it on a laptop running Windows 98, Office 2000 and we experienced the same glitches. The laptop that we are currently working with is an IBM T30 with 1.66 GHz and 256 megs of RAM. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Nicole
