Did Entourage send email to doubleclick.net without my knowledge?

In Entourage, when I click in the "To" field, and type the letter "E",
several email address choices appear as possible selections. I think
these are usually email addresses that I have used in the past,
helpfully offered up by Entourage. However, I am absolutely certain
I have never intentionally used one of them:

[email protected]

Could this mean that by clicking on some prior email attachment or
embedded link, or even just by opening a junk mail or some joke mail
by mistake, Entourage has surreptitiously emailed something back to
doubleclick.net without my knowledge or consent? And if so, what data
might it have secretly sent there....is there any way to see what was
sent and to force Entourage to let me know whenever any attempt is
made to send email surreptitiously from my Mac?

Hi,

this is a feature in Entourage, called MRU (Most Recently Used) AutoComplete
list, and it will fill in addresses that you have used in the past. It will
also pick up addresses from *incoming* messages, so if someone sent you a
message using the e-mail address you have mentioned, that address will also
show up in the MRU AutoComplete list. Entourage will never e-mail someone
without your knowledge.

Have a look at this page for more information:
