I have a payroll table with employee, hours, postdate, etc.
an employee will have several records for each week depending on day worked,
job task etc
emplouee Hrs PostDate
234561 2 4/10/05
234561 6 4/10/05
234561 3 4/17/05
I need to know which employees had records during given post dates
For a government report (to be submitted as a digital table) we need to put
a one in query column if the employee worked at all during the week which
included the 12th of the month otherwise a zero.
The postdates (the subsequent Sunday) for those weeks are 4/17/05, 5/15/05,
6/12/05
I need to create a query that will list the employee number and a 1 or 0
indicting if that employee worked during the week with that postdate
Employee month1, month2, month3
234561 1 1 1
235456 1 0 1
