Difference between enhanced metafile and Windows meta...

When using past special to paste a word or excel doc in a presentation, there
are multiple options. I know the difference and uses for most of the
options, but am not sure when you would use the Windows Metafile, or
Enhanced Metafile options and I'm not really sure what the difference in
these formats are. Also, if using paste special and selecting HTML, I
assume this would have to do with utilizing your show on the web, but
couldn't you just save the presentation in HTML format instead?

When we were using .WMF(Windows MetaFile) file we were able to UNGROUP the
pasted image in PowerPoint, but now we are using .EMF(Enhanced MetaFile) and
are not able to UNGROUP. As our software have been ported to 32 bit we have
to switch to .EMF file.

Thanks in advance.,

As i told that we have ported our software(written in VC++) to 32 bit from 16
bit, We used to copy the image to clipboard from our software then pasting it
in Powerpoint. Previously we had .wmf file now we are converyting it to .emf
file. I think thats all i want to say.

Thanks
Vishal
