Different color for each month-name in a calendar

J

Jim B

We are making a calendar using Publisher 2003 (Office 2003 Pro).
We followed HELP's instructions (File, New, Publications for print,
Calendars, Full, Understated).
When we change the color of the text in a month-name textbox, that color
becomes the color for all month names.

Is there a way to make each month's name a different color?

It's a single page calendar so there shouldn't be any problem with making
each name a different color.

Thanks JoAnn,
BUT, "Understated" in my version is a 12 month(page) calendar, unless I
misunderstand your answer.
I went back and tried it again, selecting the text this time (not just the
textbox), and the same thing happened. I changed July from red to blue and
all the month names are now blue.

JoAnn,
Sorry, I mis-informed you.
I changed the date range making the document a 12 page/month document.

Okay -

Change the first month to whatever color. Then do an Edit - Undo
Synchronize. Now you can change the rest.

Copy the month name, not the text box, create a text box the same size as the
original, paste the month name. Time consuming, a workaround.

You are correct. I never think of the undo synchronize, you only see it when you
are doing templates. Most menu items are in view, though dimmed, this one never
is there.
