directing spam in Entourage X

How do I route spam from my inbox to the trash, or to a junk mail
folder. I don't know how to write an applescript.

You don't need a script. You can use a Rule (Tools/Rules/Mail (POP) or
(IMAP)/New, unchecking Enabled box if you don't run it to run automatically
(e.g. if you set criteria to "All Messages" rather than to specific
criteria), and select Apply Rule/That Rule in the Message menu after
selecting the message(s) in the message list.

Or you can just drag the message(s) there manually.
