Disable empty deleted items on exit

Is there any way to disable Entourage from emptying the deleted item folder
on exit? I looked through the preferences but didn't see any.

I've never seen Entourage empty the deleted item folder automatically.
Is this an IMAP account? Maybe it's something that happens on your
server. m.

It's not in Preferences. If you mean the local Deleted Items folder "On My
Computer", check Tools/Schedules/Empty Deleted Items Folder/Edit. If it's
set to run On Quit, change that to Manually, or disable the schedule (you
can still run it manually). You must have set it to On Quit yourself at one
point: the default is Manually.

Or, if it's an IMAP account' Deleted Items, check Tools/Accounts/[that
account]/Edit/Advanced. Near the bottom, uncheck "Empty Deleted Items folder
on quit".
