Disable smooth font in Entourage 2004

Hello,

Entourage v. X had a preference to disable Quartz rendering engine. I can't
find it in v. 2004. Is there maybe a ruse to turn it off anyway?

Background: smoothed 12 pt Courier font looks very blurred and hairy.

Okay. A really smart solution for this IMHO font smooth problem wasn't yet
found. I have started a support request by Microsoft, waiting if something
positive will happen. If so, I will post here.
