Disable the mouse wheel

I have a problem where users are scrolling with the mouse
wheel and find themselves in another record. I would like
to disable the mouse wheel function. I found a MS
knowledge base article on this, however I would like to
find another way of doing this. The reason: the article
suggest using VB or C++ or creating the procedures
directly in Access - I do not have VB or C++ and according
to the article, creating the procedures in Access can
cause the database to crash.

Any suggestions?
