Sorry mate, but that isn't a solution, it is a workround... if you
proceed using workrounds to cover up the deficiencies of this program,
it becomes an apallingly slow piece of software to use (which, as if
by coincidence, it is).

What's wrong with that advice? No one is making you use it. I don't hesitate
to tell users that if they are that dissatisfied to use something else.

OTOH, you don't know who Dave is. Insert foot in mouth for this one.

It may not be the perfect software, but it is still the best Mac client out
there.
