Disabling directory services

I recently installed the update for Entourage 2004 because I was happy
to synchronize my address books and to have better protection against
hidden HTML in spam.

I've encountered one annoyance: When I send mail, Entourage
automatically begins searching the directory service Four11. In
Preferences, I've already unchecked the boxes for "Automatically check
names when sending messages" and "Search directory services when
addressing messages."

Is there something else I can do to turn off this default?

Delete the built-in directory services in Tools > Accounts under the
"Directory Service" tab.
