Disabling Text Box Duplications in Brochure

I am using one of the brochure templates and everytime I change the top text
box on the first page, it changes the text box on the third, fifth, etc.
pages. Same with the second, fourth, and so on. How do I make this stop? It's
making me crazy. I'm using Publisher 2002, if it matters.

Delete the text box on each page and replace it with one of your own creation.

After you type in your information, go to Edit > Undo Synchronize.

To enable it again, go to Tools > Options > User Assistance Tab >
Automatically Synchronize formatting.
