disappearing body text

We are using Outlook 2002 SP2.

I have a custome appointment form using VB Script only.
The form is published and used by everyone in the
organization.

Everything works fine except when the creator of the
appointment places text in the body. The text appears on
the notification sent to the recipients but once they
accept the meeting and click on the item on their
calendars the body text is gone. Nowhere in my code do I
reference the body property. Anyone have any ideas?
