Word XP
I have a form with about 40 checkboxes which were inserted into table cells,
initially using the forms toolbar (for the first table cell) and then by
duplicating that cell using cut and paste. Each checkbox runs a macro on
entry and exit.
(FYI the macros make the checkbox checked exclusively within its table cell
and then show or hide a paragraph of text according to which box was
checked)
While testing the form, suddenly and at random, ALL the checkboxes in the
document disappear. When I unprotect the document and display the field
codes {a} the checkboxes are hidden but I cannot unhide them. When I
attempt to get the properties of a (now hidden) checkbox, the following
message appears [sic]:
"The properties are not available because this checkbox was not inserted
with the forms toolbar...."
I have to abandon the document and reload the original.
What is happening? How can I prevent this?
