disappearing emails

Hi,
Have I got a virus? Until last week I had emails upto 2003. A check yesterday they had disappeared from 9th August till 2003. Just checked this pm and emails from the 15 th until the 9 August. So currently I have just emails from now until the 15 Aug. I use Entourage to sync with my Live mail account and the same is happening online.

To date, no viruses have been found in the wild for Mac OS X. This is
really the last thing you should be thinking.

I've heard of no malware that can affect Entourage and specifically
delete messages from a certain date range.

The problem may be with Entourage but could equally be with your Live
account or the Live servers. You might want to contact the Live server
support to ask if they're aware of any issues with disappearing
messages. Your problem sounds almost like your account was reset as new
back on the 9th.
