Disappearing entries in public calendars

Hello

I have a user whose entries in a public calendar seem to disappear all by
themselves. This does not happen all the time and since she had sent out
some invitations that were responded to, it would appear that the entry was
indeed put in the right calendar and not her personal one or anything.

The responses to the invites do not have the customary link to the calendar
entry but I am not sure that is because the entry disappeared or not.

I would usually chalk this up as user error but it appears to that the
responses to the invites didn¹t come from thin air and if they were in
reference to another mistaken entry than there should be a link to the wrong
entry at least.

The public calendar in question is an account created solely for a
conference room and nobody but the admin has access to that account and you
cannot delete an entry that was put in by someone else unless you¹re the
admin and since I¹m the admin, I know none of that happened.

All my users have Office 2004 updated to latest and we are using an Exchange
server 2003.

Has anyone seen this before or know if this is a problem?
