Disappointed. No hyperlink feature in entourage 2008

After a few weeks of wondering what I was doing wrong, found that
hyperlinks are not supported.
As a corporate business user, I find this most frustrating.
My partners have been wondering why I changed from Outlook.
I to am beginning to want it back.
How about if Entourage give us the hyperlink option in an update. In
preferences, we could turn on or off.

When I try to forward mail with hyperlinks.. looks like a nightmare.
Please help.

You can always forward messages as attachments; this method will preserve
their complex formatting. Select the message, then click on Message>Forward
As Attachment.

I would not expect the hyperlink feature to be made available as part of an
update; the problem is that Entourage's HTML engine is extremely weak, and
it does not do anything but very simple HTML formatting. Anything more
advanced (tables, masked hyperlinks) is not supported.

As an alternative, you could also compose your messages in Word (which does
support the creation of hyperlinks), and then pass on the message to
Entourage using the File>Send To>Mail Recipient (as HTML) command.

Perhaps we'll get this feature (which has been requested for years) in the
next version of Office for Mac, in which Entourage is going to be replaced
by a Mac version of Outlook.
