I have painfully but successfully upgraded from Office X to Office 2004.
However, in the process of foolishly messing about with Terminal I have
wiped out my entire Documents folder, containing my Office 2004
`/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2004 Identities.

Fortunately, on my old (now replaced) machine I still have my Office X
Identities.

You have previously instructed me how to get that file into my Office 2004
Identities, but I have, of course, lost that message also.

If you can help me, I'll have lost only 4 weeks of data (I'm a lazy
backer-upper, also).

Thanks.

Did you check the trash?

File --> Import. Select to import from a program.

Set a Task to remind you.
